Condo board — 72-hour posted notice
Hawaii condominiums: notice of all board meetings must be posted in prominent locations on the project 72 hours before the meeting, or simultaneously with notice to the board (HRS §514B-125). Planned community associations sit under HRS chapter 421J. We write the packet to the 72-hour clock and the declaration if it demands more.

Application and Notice of Lien — 45 days after date of completion
Hawaii does not use a 20-day preliminary notice. A claimant applies to the circuit court with an Application for a Lien and a Notice of Lien, served on the owner, not later than 45 days after the date of completion (HRS §507-43). Date of completion is tied to publication of a notice of completion. Condo common elements have special limits under §514B-43. We serve the application/notice and calendar the 45-day clock. Counsel files in circuit court.

Form WC-1 to DCD — promptly / 7 working days typical
Hawaii employers file Form WC-1 with the Disability Compensation Division for injuries that miss a day or need more than first aid. File promptly; practice is inside seven working days of knowledge. Fatalities: OSHA 8 hours. We draft WC-1 the night of intake. We are not the DCD.
